There are 2 ways in which you can grant file access to a Candidate:
Option 1: Reset Candidate Access (Recommended)
If you need to send a reminder to complete an eReference and/or criminal record check, you can use the Reset Candidate Access feature to send a system-generated email notification.
An email notification will be sent to the email address on the candidate's file. The notification will be tailored to the stage at which the candidate is at in terms of completion. A link will be provided in the email to allow the candidate direct access to their file.
Step 1: Click on the file number located to the right of the candidate's name.
Step 2: Select TOOLS from the right hand side of the page.
Step 3: Select Reset Candidate Access from the drop down menu. The candidate will then receive an email with a link inviting them to access their file.
Option 2: Copy Invitation Link
The Copy Invitation Link button can be used to allow access to candidate eReference or criminal record check files that have yet to create a password for their file. This method should be used as a last resort to avoid accidently sharing personal information with the wrong candidate.
Step 1: Click on the file number located to the right of the candidate's name.
Step 2: Select the overlapping pages icon found at the top right of the candidates file. This is the Copy Invitation Link and will copy the link once selected.
Step 3: Paste the link in your email to the candidate.
