What’s the difference between pausing and unpublishing a listing, and how can I do each?
Pausing your listing removes it from the job or volunteer board (depending on your listing type) while preserving any upgrades you've purchased. This option is ideal if you're unsure whether you'll reactivate the listing within the 60-day window.
If you're certain you won't need to reactivate the listing within the 60-day window, you can choose to unpublish it instead.
To republish a listing within 60 days of its original posting date, please contact our National Help Desk at help@charityvillage.com for assistance.
If you choose to republish the listing on your own, a new posting will be created and the standard job posting fee will apply. (Volunteer listings can be republished at no cost.)
To pause or unpublish your listing, please follow these instructions:
Step 1: Click Job Manager located to the left hand side of your employer dashboard.
Click UNPUBLISH or PAUSE from the Options drop down menu for the listing you would like removed from the site.
Step 2: If you choose to Unpublish your listing, click the button to confirm you want to remove the listing.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Any upgrades attached to this listing (e.g. job boost) will expire.
