There are 3 posting options to choose from when you're about to create your job or volunteer listing.
Option 1: Job or Volunteer via Template
This option prompts you to enter the text, or copy and paste the position description in the DESCRIPTION box. The posting appears the same on both desktop and mobile browsers without needing to upload a PDF file. This options ensures a consistent and smooth experience for all viewers across browsers and devices.
Option 2: Job or Volunteer via Link
For this option, you are provided a field to enter the external URL to direct applicants from the Apply button to your webpage. The URL will be displayed as an iFrame.
Option 3: Job or Volunteer via File
This option allows you to upload a PDF file containing the position description. The posting displays the PDF in an integrated PDF viewer on a desktop computer. For those viewing your position description on a mobile device, the system uses a content parsing tool to extract and display the information from the file as text. Since the information from the position description relies on the PDF file, the presentation and user experience may vary across devices.
