I received a request for consent by Screening Canada. What do I do?

You received a request for consent by an organization you submitted an application to. The email indicates the name of the organization that sent the request and that the screening will be conducted by Screening Canada. 

Screening Canada is a background screening platform that uses 100% compliant technology.  Many Canadian organizations are required to conduct background screening on candidates to ensure they're the right fit. 1. To complete the consent, click Review the Request button in the email you received.



2. Click Continue on the Candidate Portal page if this is the first time you are accessing Screening Canada. If you already have an account, click sign in here on the page.



3. The pop-up box is a reminder to review and complete all required fields that are marked with an asterix (*). Click Get Started!



IMPORTANT: Make sure to enter your names exactly as they appear on your government issued ID. Avoid using short forms, nicknames, or any alternative names that a government agency would not recognize.
