How do I manage applications in my CharityVillage account?

If you chose the option for applications to be submitted and managed via CharityVillage's applicant tracking system (located in your CharityVillage account), please follow these instructions.

Please go to CharityVillage, hover your mouse over LOGIN and select EMPLOYER LOGIN.

Once logged in, you are brought to your Employer dashboard.

A. EMPLOYER DASHBOARD OVERVIEW 

Please Note: To review applications that have been submitted to a specific job posting, just click on the title of your job posting at the bottom of your dashboard. Detailed instructions on how to review individual applications is located in section C of this article - Reviewing Individual Applications.

A) Unread Applications - If you have unread applications, click on Unread Applications. The dashboard will then reveal ONLY the job or jobs that have unread applications. Just click on the title of the job posting to review these messages.
              
Please Note: If you select this and there are no unread applications, you won't see any of your job postings at the bottom of your dashboard. Just click the x button to restore all job postings (see screen shot below).

B) Unread Messages - If you have unread messages from applicants, click Unread Messages. The dashboard will ONLY reveal the job or jobs postings that have unread messages. Just click on the title of the job posting to review these messages.

Please Note: If you select this and there are no unread messages, you won't see any of your job postings at the bottom of your dashboard. Just click the x button to restore all job postings like in the example above.

C) If you have any job postings that are currently live on ChairtyVillage, click Live Jobs. Your dashboard will hide all job postings that have expired.

D) Candidates - If you know the name of a candidate you would like to review, just type their name in this field and click Enter on your computer. 

E) Graph icon reveals the number of people that have viewed your job. This will be updated nightly. If you want to review real time information, click "Statistics" when viewing all applications for your job posting.

F) People icon represents number of people that have applied to your job.

G) Calendar icon represents the number of days until your job posting expires.

B. REVIEWING APPLICATION DASHBOARD FOR A SPECIFIC JOB POSTING

A) All Candidates - View all candidates that have applied to your position.

B) New Applicants - View all new applicants that have applied to your position. These are the applications you have not opened.

C) Shortlisted - View all candidates you have shortlisted (no notification is sent to the candidate).

D) Rejected - View all candidates you have rejected (no notification is sent to the candidate).

E) From Database - Please ignore as this is not operational.

F) Click the check mark to short list a candidate (no notification is sent)

G) Click X to reject a candidate (no notification is sent)

C. REVIEWING INDIVIDUAL APPLICATIONS

1. To view an individual application, click on their name. A snap shot of their profile information will be revealed.

2. Click View Profile to review all of their information from work experience and education to their contact information.

3. Click Full Application to review their cover letter (if included). If screening questions were required for this posting, the candidate's answers will appear here.

A) Information - View cover letter and answers to screen questions.

B) Recent Activity - Review all activity and action(s) taken with the Candidate.

C) Messages - Review any messages sent between you any the candidate. You can also send a message to the applicant.

4. Download Candidate Documents - If you would like to download a candidate's resume, cover letter and any other document they submitted with their application, click here for instructions.
