What kind of volunteer listings are posted here?

We accept volunteer listings from:

Any Canadian nonprofit or charity and international nonprofit organizations with volunteer opportunities that are located in Canada.

We do not accept volunteer listings from:

• For-profit companies

• Organizations that charge application fees for volunteers (e.g. training fees)

• Organizations that aren't transparent about any fees in their CharityVillage listing (e.g. transportation, housing, licenses, reports, etc)

• Individuals (e.g. for caregivers, tutors, etc.)

• Organizations that, in our opinion, engage in hate crimes, support of terrorism, or sedition.
